1. Under this program, students from classes VI to VIII were given the
following work as Summer Reading Program:-
VIDEO RECORDING : Students had to make a video recording of any important personality’s biography. Students will hold the biography introduction card in his hand and will speak a few lines on that specific person. Recording should be in school uniform and of 1-2 minutes only.
BIOGRAPHY WRITING : Students had to make a bio-sketch write up on any important personality. He will write 2-3 pages, in which he will include important phases and events of the life of that particular personality. They may draw or paste colorful pictures related to his biography also. Students prepared these bio-sketches and sent the images to the librarian.
S STATE : ITS CULTURE AND DIVERSITY : Students had to make a write up on any Indian state. They will do it on 3-4 loose sheets. Students prepared these write ups and sent the images to the librarian through whatsapp. Neat and clean write-ups with pictures properly drawn or pasted were sent by students.
1. On 23rd April 2021, World Book Day was celebrated online.
Principal Sir's message for students regarding importance of reading
was forwarded to students by class teachers. Students were asked
to make beautiful posters on Books and importance of reading and
forward them to Librarian.
When you open a book , you open a new world. Books are the person’s best friend. Books Inspire everyone and provide a new way of thinking. Books serve as a guide in difficult times of life.
I request to all the students and teachers that at the time of lockdown, you must to read some books of your interest in addition to course book. There will be opportunity to learn something new. All the students and teachers read a book and submit your review about the book and kindly upload your picture with book through the below link.
On Sep 7, 2019 under Swachhta Pakhwada, students of the Vidyalaya did cleanliness of the Library. They focussed on each and every corner of Library and cleaned it. Old and mutilated books were also seperated and put them for condemnation. Students cleaning the library in following photographs :-
VARIOUS ACTIVITIES IN LIBRARY UNDER HINDI PAKHWADA
The following activities were held in the Library under Hindi Pakhwara:-
1. Shrutlekh Pratiyogita
2. Nibandh Pratiyogita
3. Letter to Bapu Pratiyogita
4. Slogan Writing Pratiyogita
Some of them were open competitions in which so many students participated. And in some of them, 4 students from each house were invited to take part. All the activities were held successfully and students participated with full zeal and enthusiasm. Some of the photographs of the events are as follows :-
